At Global Tactics, LLC ("Global Tactics"), our vision is to help brands build and maintain personalized, transparent, mutually beneficial relationships with their customers. Hiring the right people, and then equipping them to do the best work of their lives, is crucial to our mission.
To do that, we need to collect personal information from and about you, our candidates. We also need to use, store, and disclose that personal information. We refer to these activities, collectively, as "processing" your personal information.
The purpose of this Candidate Privacy Statement ("Statement") is to help you understand how and why we process your personal information in connection with our recruitment of candidates for positions at Global Tactics.
This Statement does not apply to our processing of your personal information in your role as a user of our products and services. When you interact with us in that role, the Global Tactics Privacy Policy or the privacy statement associated with the relevant product or service applies.
1. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information directly from you and (where applicable) from service providers and other entities, such as employment agencies or consultancies, and publicly-available sources, including online (e.g. your public LinkedIn profile), or other referral sources.
The categories of personal information we collect include:

Identification and contact information such as your full name, permanent residence, home and business addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses; copies of identification documents, such as driver’s licenses, social security cards, passports, and visas (only where required).

Recruiting information such as information included in application forms, resumes, cover letters, work samples (e.g. writing samples, portfolios, etc.), and testing materials; job preferences; references; and background screening results.

Career information such as job titles, employment work history, work dates and locations, information about skills, qualifications, experience, publications, speaking engagements, and preferences, and professional memberships.

Sensitive and/or demographic information such as race and ethnicity, sex/gender, gender identity/expression, military service, nationality, citizenship, and health information (only if required by law).

Other information such as any information you voluntarily choose to provide in connection with your job application.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your personal information to manage our recruitment and hiring processes. In some cases, we process your personal information to facilitate the recruitment and hiring processes of our service providers.
This processing includes: considering your application; communicating with you throughout the recruitment and hiring process; contacting references; scheduling and managing interviews; evaluating you for current and future job opportunities, including matching your skills and interests to applicable job requirements; making hiring decisions; and initiating onboarding if you receive and accept an offer.
We will also use your personal information for internal analyses to improve our recruitment and hiring efforts, including around diversity and inclusion.
3. How and Why We Share Your Personal Information
We will disclose candidate personal information to the following types of entities or in the following circumstances (where applicable):

Internally between and among Global Tactics’s affiliates to carry out the purposes described in this Statement.

Service Providers in order to administer services during the Global Tactics recruiting and hiring process. These service providers include technology service providers, travel management providers, human resources suppliers, and employment agencies or external recruiters.

Legal Purposes when required to do so by law, regulation, or court order; in response to a valid request for assistance by a regulator, or law enforcement agency; to seek legal advice from our external lawyers or in connection with litigation; or to investigate or address claims or disputes relating to Global Tactics' products or services.

Business Transaction Purposes in connection with any sale, assignment, or other transfer of Global Tactics assets, financing, consolidation or restructuring, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Statement unless another retention period is required by law or for auditing purposes.
